Ashley Hullihan MAHS '13
Ms. Ashley Hullihan is a 2013 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School (MAHS) and was a member of the Mahanoy City Girls Softball 16U team. As a student at MAHS, Ashley maintained a 90.95 GPA and was involved in a variety of different academic and athletic activities including Yearbook Club, Basketball, Softball, and Cross Country.
Ashely attends Elizabethtown College where she studies Elementary/Special Education and is a member of the college softball team! Ashley used the funds from the "Jeffrey Donnelly Memorial Award for Athletics" to help fund her 1st semester of college.
Christy Evancho MAHS '14
Ms. Christy Evancho is a 2014 graudate of Mahanoy Area High School (MAHS) and was a member of the Mahanoy City Girls Softball League 10U team. As a student at MAHS, Christy maintained a 94.5 GPA and was involved in a variety of different academic and althletic activities including National Honor Society, Student Council, Volleyball, and Cheerleading. Christy plans to use the "Jeffrey Donnelly Memorial Award for Athletics" to further her education in the field of Child Psychology or Nursing at Bloomsburg University.
Kelly Walinchus MAHS '15
Congratulations to this year's scholarship recipient, Kelly Walinchus! Ms. Walinchus is a 2015 graudate of Mahanoy Area High School (MAHS) and was a member of the Mahanoy City Girls Softball League for 8 years. She was also a member of the MAHS softball team for 4 years. As a student at MAHS, Kelly maintained a 95.2 GPA and was involved in a variety of different academic and althletic activities including National Honor Society, SADD, Teens Against Tobacco, Interact Club, and Cross Country. Kelly plans to use the "Jeffrey Donnelly Memorial Award for Athletics" to further her education at King's College while studying to become a Physician Assistant!
